Malaysian Coffee is a drink with a smooth flavour. A vanilla pod is used during brewing to impart a special aroma to the coffee. Note that it’s not recommended to substitute the vanilla pod with vanilla extract or vanilla sugar. This sweet, aromatic drink will boost your energy and mood for the whole day.

Pour water into a saucepan and add sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil.
Add a vanilla pod to the resulting syrup.
Use the sugar syrup instead of water. Brew the espresso or coffee in any preferred way.
Pour the coffee through a sieve into a serving glass.
If desired, garnish the finished drink with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
