Cold Сardamom Coffee with Fruit
This low-calorie drink is perfect for dinner. Substituting water with a cardamom infusion intensifies the bitterness of the coffee beans, with canned fruit contributing a fruity aftertaste and a delicate aroma.
Place cardamom in a saucepan and add water. Bring it to a boil and heat over low heat for 5 minutes.
Let the infusion cool naturally (or in the refrigerator) for 1 hour.
Strain through a fine sieve and heat.
Use the cardamom infusion to brew the coffee in any preferred way.
Place ice in a tall, heat proof glass.
Pour hot coffee over the ice cushion.
Garnish with pineapple and cherries.
Tip! Skewer the fruits in advance.
