Peel the bananas, slice them, and put them in a blender.
Add rum and milk to the bananas and blend until smooth.
Brew the espresso or coffee using any preferred method.
In a saucepan, combine the coffee, banana-milk mixture, and sugar. Bring to a boil, then reduce to medium heat and simmer for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove the saucepan from the heat.
Pour the coffee mixture into mugs and garnish with whipped cream.
