Coffee Blueberry Sun

The combination of blueberry syrup, sweet vermouth, and orange zest complements the classic combination of milk and coffee harmoniously. This light, alcoholic coffee cocktail will both energise and relax you. Plant-based alternatives can be used instead of regular milk.

blueberry syrup

sweet vermouth

ice cubes

milk

fresh orange zest

Method
  1. Brew the espresso or coffee using any preferred method. Set aside.
  2. Add blueberry syrup, sweet vermouth, orange zest, and milk to a saucepan, place on the heat, and bring to a boil.
  3. Remove the milk from the heat and let it steep for 5–10 minutes to infuse the flavours.
  4. Pour the steeped milk mixture into a blender and blend until frothy.
  5. Fill a serving glass with ice cubes.
  6. Pour the coffee over the ice.
  7. Pour the frothed milk mixture over the coffee.
  8. Garnish the drink with orange zest.
