Ingredients
- 1-2 aniseed
- 3-4 cardamom
- a pinch of nutmeg
- a pinch of ground ginger
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 20 ml (2/3 fl oz) caramel syrup
- 150 ml (5 fl oz) mlk
- 90 ml (3 fl oz) espresso or coffee
- 1-2 tsp black tea
- 120 ml (4 fl oz) water
- Pepper blend to taste
Method
- Place the tea leaves in a saucepan, pour in water, place it on the hob, and bring it to a boil.
- Once it starts boiling, add the spices, milk, and syrup. Reduce the heat and simmer gently to allow the spices to infuse.
- Prepare the espresso or coffee using your preferred method.
- Pour the prepared coffee into a mug.
- After 1 minute, strain the tea through a strainer into a pitcher or something with a spout.
- Add the spiced tea to the coffee.
- Serve.
