Ingredients

  • 2-3 tsp ground coffee
  • 120 ml (4 fl oz) water
  • 50 ml (1 and 2/3 fl oz) light / white rum
  • 1-2 tsp sugar
  • cloves to taste
  • allspice to taste
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1-2 cardamom

Method

  1. In a cezve, add coffee, spices, sugar, and water.
  2. Add rum.
  3. Place on the stove and bring to a boil.
  4. Strain into a serving glass through a sieve to prevent spices from getting in.

Spices add uniqueness and a special zest to coffee.
