Ingredients

  • 30 ml (1 fl oz) Espresso or coffee
  • 100 ml (3 and 1/3 fl oz) Milk
  • 1 small or 1/2 large bananas
  • 2-3 pieces ice cubes
  • Whipped cream to taste (optional)

Method

  1. Brew the espresso or coffee in any preferred way.
  2. Allow the drink to cool.
  3. Peel the banana and cut it into chunks.
  4. Place the chilled espresso or strong coffee and the chopped banana in the blender bowl.
  5. Whisk the ingredients until smooth.
  6. Add the milk and ice cubes to the blender.
  7. Whisk all the ingredients again.
  8. Pour the drink into a serving glass.
  9. Garnish the iced banana latte with whipped cream if desired.
